Euro rises to highest level in a week

The euro saw a rise during Wednesday's trading, its highest level in a week and in light of the demand for the dollar's decline as well as the desire of the markets in demand for major currencies with the return of confidence in the markets somewhat.

Pair is trading the euro against the dollar is currently at the level of 1.1065 after recording the highest at 1.1192 and the session was opened today at the level of 1.1119, while it might hit its lowest level at 1.1118.

High levels of the euro today comes despite the negative industrial production data released today from France, where the French industrial production index fell for the month of June by 0.8% along with an annual decline of 1.3%.

Weak industrial production data from France failed to curb the rise of the euro during trading today after being found support from the deterioration of the dollar levels in addition to the increasing demand for risk in the markets and this appeared on rising commodity prices in the markets significantly.
