Platinum falls to its lowest level in three weeks

Platinum prices fell during trading on Monday, with the beginning of the week to the lowest level in three weeks, and in spite of the dollar's decline against major currencies, this comes in the light of the continued negative pressure on the commodity markets.
Platinum prices are currently trading at $ 1117.85 an ounce after recording the highest at $ 1135.55 an ounce and the session was opened today at $ 1132.40 an ounce, while it might hit its lowest level in three weeks at $ 1115.35 an ounce.

The current decline in platinum prices came under selling goods operations in the markets due to declining risk appetite and in spite of the weakness of the dollar against major currencies today.

On the other hand, growth rates decline in Japan and a slowdown in the industrial sector's performance in the various economies increased negative pressure on the goods with fears of a decline in global demand.

Trading the dollar index, which tracks the dollar's achievement adjoin a bassinet of major currencies, is currently at the level of 95.59, after the record lows at 95.51 and was opened today's trading at the 95.72 level, recording the highest at 95.81. Today's decline comes in the levels of the dollar after falling last Friday, the lowest level in more than a week at 95.25.
